Event: Saskatchewan Citizens' Hearings on Climate Change are November 1 & 2

The Saskatchewan Citizens’ Hearings on Climate Change take place in Saskatoon, Friday November 1st and Saturday November 2nd, 9:30AM - 9PM, at The Refinery Arts and Spirit Centre (one block off Broadway).  This major event will feature a diverse mix of presenters: climate scientists, concerned citizens, businesspeople, farmers, First Nations representatives, students, grandmothers, and other citizens.

While most of the presenters will be from Saskatchewan, we will also be featuring four keynote presentations (via carbon-saving internet A/V links): Dr. Kathleen Dean Moore, Distinguished Professor of Philosophy and author of Moral Ground: Ethical Action for a Planet in Peril; Dr. Kirsten Zickfeld, Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Victoria, School of Earth and Ocean Sciences; and others.
