Saskatoon Program Student Action for a Sustainable Future Featured in Global Environmental Education Program Case Study

SERI Director Marcia McKenzie was involved in developing this case study of Student Action for a Sustainable Future (SASF) for the Global Environmental Education Partnership (GEEP), along with Shannon Dyck from the City of Saskatoon.

SASF is a City of Saskatoon initiative that engages Grade 5-8 teachers and students in action and inquiry projects in the areas of waste, water, energy, food, biodiversity, and transportation.

GEEP is a global partnership committed to advancing environmental literacy to create a more just and sustainable future through education.

The case study, entitled "Building Capacity for Sustainable Action through Inquiry, Experiential Learning, and Collaboration" has been posted on GEEP partner, the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE)'s website.

It's very exciting to see Saskatchewan initiatives being profiled in global platforms!
