Established in 2012 in the University of Saskatchewan's College of Education, the Sustainability Education Research Institute (SERI) is a collaborative, innovative, and internationally-linked institute that houses faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, staff, and other partners conducting research on environment and sustainability in relation to education.

Our overarching goal is to further research and action on land, place, environment, and sustainability in relation to educational research, policy, and practice.
